Satisfying to touch
Crystals that crack, shards with physics, camera shake, phone vibration and sound. The “oddly satisfying” part is in the details.

You tap a crystal, a wave goes out and the board breaks in its path. The trick is that the wave loses power: the challenge is choosing where you strike from.

Crystal Pulse is a level-based puzzle for phones. Each level is a board of hexagonal crystals and every tap sends out a wave that spreads to the crystals sharing a side, breaking them in its path.
There is no clock and no reflexes: there are a limited number of moves and a decision to make on each one. The board itself does the rest.
It is one of those games people call “oddly satisfying”: breaking crystals, watching shards fly and hearing the hit is simply pleasant.
Three steps and one idea that changes everything.
Tap any crystal on the hexagonal board and a wave goes out from there.
The wave jumps to the crystals that share a side and breaks them in its path. Shiny crystals break on their own with the wave; duller ones are harder and hold out, they crack or they need finishing off with a direct tap.
Every crystal it passes through drains energy and the wave dies out when it runs out. So the challenge isn't tapping fast, but choosing well where to strike from so it reaches as far as possible.
Shine is the clue: the more a crystal shines, the easier it is to break. Pink breaks with the wave; yellow barely shines and usually needs a direct tap.
All of this is in the game, not in a future plan.

The level number defines the figure: level 137 is always exactly the same, with the same crystals. Zero randomness.
Every hammer has its own wave pattern, its force and its colour affinity. They unlock with coins and completely change how the same board plays.
Hammers wear out with hits. When they are worn out, you repair them with coins from the gallery, or switch to another one and keep playing.
A winding trail-shaped path that you advance along stage by stage, so you can see at a glance how far you've got.
Awarded based on how efficiently you use your moves. Going back to a level to scrape the third star is part of the game.
3 lives and a new one every 20 minutes, plus a gift for coming back each day. No rush and no punishment for disappearing for a week.
Download it and play without paying anything: there are no accounts and no sign-up, and your progress is saved on your own phone.

No. Crystal Pulse has no user accounts and no sign-up, and it never asks for your email or a password.
The game generates each level on the device itself from its number, so it doesn't need the internet to play. If you lose your connection, the anonymous statistics are queued and sent later.
Write to us and we'll tell you as soon as Crystal Pulse is available on Google Play.
